Review – I Just Want You by Kaylee Ryan

 Review:

Oh My GOSH!  I loved this book!  Where has Kaylee Ryan been all my life because this book made me fall head-over-heels in love…with her writing and creativity and CHARACTERS!  I adored both Crew and Berklee.  Crew is so over-the-top alpha and possessive, I half expected him to be carrying around a club and wearing a loin-cloth.  The most hilarious part?  He is ONLY like this for Berklee.  From the moment he meets her he covets her in a way that isn’t creepy but is definitely intense.  Meeting her for the first time in a coffee shop and then finding out his partner has hired her to be his new manager, every moment of their time together, from beginning to end is an extremely long and erotic session of foreplay…until them finally can’t help themselves and the simmering flames becomes a five-alarm blaze.  Berklee is stunning, kind, smart, and ambitious.  I love that she has friends and a life both with Crew and away from him.  While she is attracted to him but is protecting herself, she can no longer deny she is drawn to him and the back and forth pull is something that she just can’t control.  She establishes boundaries but Crew soon discovers those boundaries are more than he can take and he works diligently to blow those boundaries out of the stratosphere.  This book was so epic and moving, I was breathless, turned on, and mesmerized by every facet of their relationship.  The sex was erotic and HOT but written with so much emotion that you felt like you were part of it (cue the wet panties).  Their friends bring laughter and fun times to the story and I’m dying to have some of their stories told.  This book was well written with an easy to follow plot and engaging storyline.  We have some beautiful moments when both Berklee and Crew bring their families into the mix and I was highly entertained by those scenes.  This book had everything….plot, a little angst, hot sex, and a once-in-a-lifetime love story (and even a plot twist I didn’t see coming but I ADORED.  Seriously, it added even more to an already perfect story).  Let me tell you, the ending….one of the best I have ever read…seriously EVER!!!!  My one-click finger will be breaking this week as I purchase anything I can get my hands on by Ms. Ryan.  She will definitely be an auto-buy author from now on and I can’t wait for the next story in this series.  5 stars.

“Go to college,” they said. “Get a good job,” they said. “It will be a piece of cake.” Well, whoever they are, they lied. Sure, college was a blast, but after college, not so much. The finding a job to go with my expensive education, that part was not so easy. At least not until I was offered a position at the new club in town.Life is defined by the little moments that have the power to change it completely. I never thought getting a cup of coffee would change mine, but it did. She did. She’s one of those moments.

He’s my boss.

She’s my employee.

I want him.

I can’t resist her.
