My mind is blown! I am utterly and completely wrecked all because of The Banker. I thought the previous books in this series were great but The Banker blows them all out of the water on both an emotional and erotic level. Jasper is an amazing man and honestly, he’s going to be a hard hero to ever top. He is dominating, charming, sexy and them BAM! Plot Twist! We see a whole other side to him that makes him everything I’ve mentioned plus MORE. It’s an emotional and completely endearing side of him that made me fall in love every single time he opened his mouth. Now Lennon…I’m not gonna lie. It took me a little bit to warm up to her. Maybe it is because she is so confident and unapologetic about her blatant sexuality that she came off as almost too cocky but don’t make the mistake I did…do NOT be fooled! She is complex and real and so amazing when she lets her guard down. Witnessing someone who has never really experienced monogamy and all the beauty that can be found in a relationship….it was raw and gut-wrenching. I loved the passion and chemistry between these two. Jasper and Lennon are two individuals who I would never have imagined would get together, who find the other half of their soul with the other. From their first encounter (hilarious) to the very last word, these two charmed me, made me laugh, made me cry, soaked my panties…every single emotion I could feel, I did. The plot was entertaining and engaging, the sex erotic and adventurous, and the depth of emotion displayed throughout the book was stimulating and gut wrenching. The secondary characters brought both frustration (Jasper’s mom….grrrrrrr) and delightful entertainment (I seriously want to be friends with this group). I can not imagine the next book in this series could be any better than this one but I’m hoping Piper Rayne says “challenge accepted”! 5 stars!

We aren’t trying to stamp ourselves with a top-secret label. We wanted to write without apology. We wanted to not be pigeon holed into a specific outline. We wanted to give readers a story without them assuming how the story will flow. Everyone has their favorite authors, right? And when you pick up their books, you expect something from them. Whether it’s an alpha male, heavy angst, a happily ever after, there’s something you are absolutely certain the book will contain. Heck, we’re readers, too, we get it.What can we tell you about ourselves? We both have kindle’s full of one-clickable books. We’re both married to husbands who drive us to drink. We’re both chauffeurs to our kids. Most of all, we love hot heroes and quirky heroines that make us laugh, and we hope you do, too.
