About LOST FOR YOU:

I’ve been clean for years. But now my addiction has a face. Her face…

At eighteen, I stood at the precipice of stardom. I had the record deal. And the tour to back it up. But I succumbed to the pressure of that life. The dark side.

Now, I skate on the fringe. My brother is the genius guitarist for the band Caged, and I’m the one who helped make that happen. I’m happy to run my bars and my land development company.

Sure I am.

And then I meet her—Taryn Ayers—the music manager behind the three biggest bands in the country. She doesn’t know I’m Cam’s older brother. Or that I’ve got a secret that makes

her world and mine fundamentally incompatible.

Problem is, I want to know Taryn. I crave her as much as any drug.

But can I risk letting her know me?

Lost For You is a STAND ALONE New Adult Romance.

Intended for mature audiences due to hot as sin rockstars and the world they live in.

**Please note: This book contains instances of drug use.**

Excerpt:

Head bowed, I trudged along, feeling around inside my purse for my keys. For such a tiny bag, everything got lost.

“About time you got here.”

My heart stalled when I spotted Chase sitting in front of my door. Climbing to his feet, he strolled toward me. And then his hands sunk into my hair and his mouth covered mine, tongue diving between my lips with wild abandon.

Sliding his hand to my nape, he touched his forehead to mine. “Missed this mouth.” He nipped my lip to prove the point.

Still dazed from his kiss, I ran my hands over his broad chest to his shoulders. Cursing the hormones, or the pheromones, or whatever it was that made me want to hold onto Chase so tight that he’d never leave, I smiled. “I missed you too.”

“You okay?”

The gentle tone and concern clouding his gaze made me squirm. “I’m fine. Just tired. What are you doing here?”

The pads of his calloused fingertips dug into the tension knots on my neck. “Waiting for you.” He pressed another kiss to my lips, gentle this time. “You said you’d call when you got in. Your plane landed over an hour ago.”

“Yeah, I had to stop by the office.”

A heavenly scent wafted up, and I blinked at Chase as I tried to place the aroma. Wrestling from his hold, I pushed him aside, searching. He chuckled low in his throat as I rushed blindly toward the three large bags with the familiar turquoise script propped against the wall next to my door.

“Franklin’s?” I gushed, nearly falling to my knees in worship. “You brought me barbecue … from Franklin’s?”

Somehow Chase managed to grab the handles on the bags before I ripped them open. “I take it you’re a fan?”

A fan? Franklin’s was hands-down the best barbecue joint in the city. Lines formed around the little shack at sunrise on most days. And when the food was gone, the owner placed a homemade sign in the window that simply read “Out.” That usually happened before noon.

“How did you manage to get Franklin’s Barbecue at this time of night?”

I scrambled to get the key into the lock, missing the target when Chase’s lips brushed my neck. “I told you. I’m a resourceful guy.” His free hand slid to the juncture of my thighs. “Now open the door. I’m starving.”

Blurb:

It’s been years since Rebel went undercover to spy on the Red Devils for his club, Dark Menace. During his days as a Red Devil, Rebel was forced to watch and participate in Wildman’s sick and twisted club dealings, including the ruin of a young and innocent woman. Even though she escaped, Rebel can’t forget the captivating beauty. Bike Week in Daytona Beach brings them back together. This is their story.

Excerpt:

I grabbed Ginger by the hand and pulled her out of the room, down the hall and to the bathroom. Her resistance was futile, her fear unimportant. I knew what I had to do, and if she were smart, she’d realize it, too. If she wanted to live. I opened the bathroom door and yanked her inside, thanking fuck that I found it empty. It was filthy, but better than nothing, and it had a shower that everyone used when they felt the need to be clean, which wasn’t often.

Ginger spun around when I shut the door, the look of a trapped animal in her pretty blues. I ignored her growing terror, steeling myself for what I had to do. Even behind closed doors I had to make it real, had to be convincing that I was an unfeeling bastard. I saw her swallow, could see her tits rising and falling rapidly as the fear of the unknown overwhelmed her. She was expecting the worst, preparing herself to do whatever she had to do to survive.

“Take off your clothes.” I kept my tone harsh, indifferent to her growing panic.

She shook her head vigorously and stepped back, slamming hard against the cracked porcelain sink. A nervous cry escaped her, and her eyes were wild as she took in her surroundings and realized that there was no escape. Her gaze touched on the door behind me before meeting my eyes.

“Please‒”

“Take off your fucking clothes,” I said in an uncaring, demanding tone. “You’re filthy, and not in a way that gets my dick hard. Now undress.” I removed my cut and the t-shirt beneath it. “In fact, I think I’ll join you.” Her eyes nearly popped out of her head at that. “If you’re not undressed by the time I’m out of my clothes, you won’t like the consequences.” I kicked off my boots as my hands went to the front of my pants.

As I’d expected she would, Ginger’s small hands began to unbutton her blouse. Slowly she began to expose enticing, creamy skin to my wandering eyes. I undid my pants. She lowered her gaze to the floor and turned around before reluctantly removing the garment. I let her have her moment of modesty before I looked into the mirror in front of her. Fuck. My dick took notice of her perfect tits and rosy nipples. Hard nipples. Surprising.

I lowered my zipper, the sound of it overloud in the tiny room. I could tell that she knew what I was doing by the stiffening of her backside, but she didn’t let it stop her from removing her jeans. As I kicked mine away, hers hit the floor. I hissed, taking in the mouth-watering curves of her shapely ass, an ass I wanted to dig my fingers into while I was grinding my dick into her cunt. Fucking hell, I hadn’t expected the surge of lust that was heating my blood at an alarming rate.

The sound of harsh breathing filled the room, and it took a minute before I realized that it was mine. “Turn around,” I demanded sharply.

I kept the smile to myself when I watched her bring her long hair forward, knowing that she was trying to use it to shield as much of her nudity as she could from me. She’d all but succeeded. When she turned, her tits were hidden behind the thick layers of her hair, and her hands were shielding her pussy from me.

“Come here, Ginger.”

She padded toward me slowly. I was glad that she was acting sensible. It would make my job a helluva lot easier, and besides, I didn’t want to hurt her. When she was within inches of me she halted, her gaze still lowered to the floor. “Look at me.” I moved her hair back behind her, exposing those luscious tits. Christ, they were full and rounded, more than a handful, and her rosy little nipples made me salivate and my dick harden.

Her worried, frightened eyes locked onto mine, and I steeled myself from softening towards her. “This is going to happen, Ginger. You and I both know that Wildman will kill us both if it doesn’t, and that’s after every one of his brothers fucks you raw.” I hesitated, giving her time to digest that. “You want that to happen?” She shook her head, a lone tear making its way down her cheek. I wiped it away with my thumb. “No more resistance from you, and I’ll make it as easy on you as I can.”

Review – Southern Attraction by Kaylee Ryan

Review:

Southern Attraction was a seriously sweet romance which I found I enjoyed very much.  Normally I like my books with more spice and sin but the easy comfort I felt reading Southern Attraction was like welcoming a long-time friend home from a very long trip.  I enjoyed the heady anticipation and deliciousness of the tease I found reading this book.  Our hero, Mike, is a true gentleman, having met our heroine while she was already in a relationship.  He can’t deny he is attracted but he doesn’t poach.  He is so swoony and romantic, it was very easy to fall in love with him.  Jamie, our heroine first met Mike when she comes to visit her best friend and knows immediately that a relationship with him would never work but that the relationship she is already in is no longer working either.  She leaves town, and Mike, and determined to settle for nothing less that what Mike makes her feel.  But upon her return to help her friend plan her wedding, she is shocked by how much she feels still for Mike and these feelings they both feel can’t be denied.  I really liked Jamie and  her open, friendly nature and her drive to succeed.  You never doubt the love she feels for her friend and you know that if she can feel that type of loyalty and love for a friend then the person she chooses to share her life with will be loved completely and unconditionally.  She was a delightful character, fresh and vivacious and full of positive energy.  There are so many romantic moments between Jamie and Mike that don’t include sex that I forgot how wonderful the anticipation of a romance can be when it’s not “wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am” and I’m grateful to Ms. Ryan for reminding me.  Mike and Jamie have obstacles to over come…she’s a city girl with big career dreams and he’s a country boy running his family bar, there is no way they can make it work…or can they?  Southern Attraction made me laugh and cry but mostly it made me sigh in utter satisfaction.  I was enchanted from the first word until the very last and I’m definitely going back to get the other books in this series so I don’t miss out on one minute of what seems to be a great series!  4.5 stars!

Review – Too Close To Call by Tessa Bailey

Review:

Ok.  Too Close To Call definitely falls in the “New Adult” category, which is something I rarely read.  Mostly because I have a hard time relating to the maturity level of the characters in the books.  However, Tessa Bailey has a winner with this book!  I found myself pulled into a story that would normally never appeal to me and enjoying ever second of it.  From the moment Kyler realizes his heart was left back in his hometown to the very satisfying ending, I was enraptured, not only by the sweet and playful side of Kyler, but by the stoic but passionate side of Bree.  Kyler is great…a young man on the cusp of his burgeoning career but with the mindset of a mature man.  He knows what he wants and he does everything in his power to make that so.  Bree is his everything.  Bree herself knows that Kyler was the love of her life but she gave him up so he could have bigger and better things than she wanted for herself.  She never wanted to leave home and doesn’t crave attention or fame.  So imagine her surprise when Kyler swoops back into town, determined to win her heart all over again.  Their cat-and-mouse chase is both titillating and romantic.  Truly, both of these characters were amazing.  Every facet of their relationship was wonderful.  The sex scenes were not over-the-top nor did they take over the story, which sometimes happens in novellas.  This was the perfect blend of romance and eroticism with plenty of backstory to make you feel like you have been with them from the very beginning of their journey.  The ending was superbly written and left me both wanting to know more 10 years into their future and being completely satisfied.  Overall, I was thoroughly entertained and engaged from beginning to end.  This book is perfect for lovers of second-chance romance and new-adult romance.  4.5 stars.

About Tessa Bailey:

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of eight years and four-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.

Excerpt Reveal – The Bartender by Piper Rayne

 The Bartender Ebook Cover.jpg

Title: The Bartender
Series: Modern Love #1
Author: Piper Rayne
Genre: New Adult Romance
Release Date: February 1, 2017

Blurb

Who knew sleeping with the enemy could be this fun? Was the one night stand a good idea?

Well, no. Probably not in retrospect. In my defense I had just moved back into my grandparent’s house, I’d lost my dream job, and a guy on Tinder had stood me up. It was like life had suddenly stamped ‘LOSER’ on my forehead.

So when the guy behind the bar started giving me THE look…you know, the one that promised I’d be screaming his name into the wee hours of the morning? When that guy also has the perfect amount of scruff on his chiseled chin, biceps bulging out of his t-shirt, and a cocky grin you knew he’d earned in the sack…when he gives you that look, you don’t bother to figure out what your six degrees of separation are. You jump on that horse and ride it!

Pun fully and completely intended. And accurate by the way.

I fully admit to feeling sorry for myself and acting impulsively, but by the time I’d figured out WHO the bartender was, I was already falling for him.

Excerpt

An hour and a half later and hot stuff has come around the bar to take the seat beside me and join me on my mission to get shit-faced. I have to admit, I’m enjoying his company, but it doesn’t exactly make him Employee of the Year given the fact that he’s supposed to be working.“Won’t your boss be mad that you’re drinking on the job?” I ask.

That damn dimple makes another appearance again before he answers. “Nah, he’s cool. It’s dead in here tonight. If anyone comes in, I’ll be sure they get what they need.” His gaze rakes up and down my small frame, and I get the distinct impression that he’s picturing me naked.

Jeez, I hope my nakedness looks amazing in his brain. Given the half-crooked smile on his face, I think it must. I wonder if his imagination is good enough to picture that dimple in my ass that doesn’t ever seem to want to disappear, regardless of how much I weigh.

As if he’s tempted fate with his words, the bell over the door dings and an older gentleman walks in and seats himself at one of the bar tables across the room.

“Be right back.” Cole pats my hand before he rises from his seat.

It was an innocent gesture, but it makes me think dirty things. The heat from his hand seeps up my arm like a bee sting and settles somewhere in my chest.

I watch him walk away and can’t help but notice the way his ass perfectly fills out his jeans. It bunches and flexes as his long strides take him across the bar. Maybe Lennon is right and it has been too long since I’ve been with a man.

It’s then that I realize that Tinder dude still hasn’t shown up. The bar isn’t busy, probably since it’s the middle of the week, and I’ve been chatting—okay, flirting—with Cole and hadn’t realized how much time had passed. I grab my phone from my purse and open the app to see that I have a new message.

Pussylickr69: Not coming. Sorry found someone else who wasn’t so much werk. Fury causes my face to heat as I type out a quick reply that might be, and by that I mean most definitely is, alcohol-fueled. Whiteebanter: Yeah, I can see how thirty minutes of conversation is too much foreplay for you. Fuck you and your lack of knowledge of the English language. You spell work with an ‘o,’ dipshit. There. That’ll show him. With a frown, I drop my phone back into my purse.“Everything okay?” Cole asks as he takes the seat beside me again.

I sigh. “Yeah, I just found out that Pussylicker isn’t coming anymore.”

Cole nearly spits out the sip of drink he’s just taken and has a coughing fit before he fully recovers. “Excuse me?”

“I was waiting for a guy from Tinder to show up, but he just ditched me because apparently it was too much work to have a drink with me before taking me back to his place to bang me.” I spin my glass in place on the bar top.

“You’re trolling for guys on Tinder?” Cole howls with laughter so hard he has to hold his stomach. I love the way the laugh looks on his face—the way it crinkles his eyes at the corners and how it showcases his perfect teeth. But all that aside, it’s irritating.

“It’s not that funny.” This guy might be hot, but right now he’s working my nerves.

“Actually, it is. Why the hell would a woman like you resort to finding someone to fuck on a dating site?”

The way the word ‘fuck’ rolls off his tongue has all my womanly parts contracting and wishing that it was an invitation to do just that. But never mind that, because I’m annoyed at him, I just barely remember through my drunken haze.

“What do you mean a woman like me?” I try to do air quotes around the last part, but my balance isn’t what it was three hours ago, and I almost topple off my stool, so I quickly grab on to the bar in front of me.

“Beautiful. Intelligent. Likable. Smartass.” He ticks each word off on one hand while he speaks and he says it like he means it. I hold his stare for a minute before realization dawns.

“Hey! I’m a B.I.L.F. You know, like a M.I.L.F. Only different.” I’m so impressed that I thought of that given my current state.

Cole chuckles with an amused gleam in his eyes. “Only better,” he says.

Our gazes lock for a beat and it’s at that moment I know that if I offer myself up to this guy, he’ll be more than willing to send me on the walk of shame tomorrow morning. Heat rushes into my cheeks and I look away. As much bravado as I had earlier about my Tinder escapade, I’m not sure I can do this. Be this girl so full of confidence that she bangs a stranger with no qualms about it.

My elation has crash-landed on the ground as I realize I’m not able to pull the trigger and make an advance toward him. I also know I’ll probably regret it forever because this man is so far beyond good-looking that it’s a speck in the rear-view mirror. Not to mention the fact that he’s sexy as hell and seems to be a decent human being. Which is more impossible to find in the Bay area than someone who doesn’t think they’re allergic to gluten.

I take a deep breath and finish the last couple of gulps of my drink and push the glass in Cole’s direction.

“Another, please.”

Cole tosses back the rest of his drink and I watch as his Adam’s apple bobs in his throat while the liquid slides down.

Damn. That is sexy.

Why is that sexy?

“I’m going to join you for another as well.” He gets up off his bar stool and before walking away he comes to stand directly behind me. “Assuming you want me to stick around?”

His breath washes across my neck and my ear and I close my eyes for a brief moment to enjoy the sensation. “I’d like that,” I say with all honesty.

“Good. I know the first guy let you down, but don’t worry… I’ve been told I lick pussy like a boss.”

And with that, he walks away while I struggle to keep my heart from pounding out of my chest.

I’m out of my league with this guy. I know it and there’s a good chance that he knows it, too.

But ask yourself this, ladies… if you were called up to the big leagues from the minors, would you say no?
