Release Blitz – Tempting Love by Kelly Elliot

Can a woman actually make you feel like you’re losing your damn mind?

Yes.

If she is Corina Miller.

The only woman who has ever made me long for something more, and let me tell you, that has me all kinds of messed up. After months of ignoring my feelings, it’s clear to me I’ve fallen for those piercing blue eyes and sexy smile.

But is it too late?

Have I pushed her into the arms of someone else?

Hell no am I letting that happen.

I’m on a mission to win the heart of the only woman I’ve ever cared about—and the only thing standing in my way is one stubborn and pissed off Corina.

I always did like a challenge.

I followed him, my hands shaking as I grew angrier by the second. “That’s it? You’re going to let me move out?”

Mitchell reached for his keys, then turned to me. “I can’t force you to stay here, Corina. If you’re unhappy, then yes, you should leave. Do I want you to? No, I don’t. I know I fucked up, but if you’re going to throw it in my face every goddamn chance you get, then you’re right, this won’t work.”

He headed to the stairs that led down to his front door. My heart raced, and I knew I couldn’t leave it like this. Closing my eyes, I called out to him. “Mitch! You never asked me to the Pecan Street Honky Tonk.”

Stopping, he looked back up at me. “What?”

I swallowed hard and took in a quick breath. “The dance, you never asked me. And well, Lane asked me.”

Sadness swept over his face. “What did you tell him?”

Wringing my hands together, I answered, “I haven’t responded…yet. I was waiting for you.”

Mitchell rushed back up the steps and stopped in front of me. I don’t think I’d ever felt my stomach dip like it did when he raced toward me. He cupped my face and leaned in. My chest rose and fell with each breath as I waited for him to speak. His touch sent a flurry of butterflies through my chest.

“Corina, will you go with me to the street dance next weekend?”

My teeth sank into my lip, and I watched as his eyes filled with lust.

“Yes.” I smiled and added, “But only as friends.”

The corner of his mouth rose into a sexy smirk. God, how I loved that smile of his. “It’s a date, then.”

“As friends,” I added.

He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. Before I could even process his lips, they were gone and he was stepping back. “I’ll take it. For now.”

Review – Bad For You by J. Daniels

REVIEW:

I have been dying to read Stitch and Shayla’s story and, having finally gotten it in my hot little hands, I was blown away by the sheer force of it!!!  What a beautiful, haunting, and moving story of love, redemption, sacrifice, and forgiveness.  I knew Stitch’s story would be darker than the other books in this series, but this was beyond anything I could have imagined.  Tortured and stoic, Stitch is the cook at the restaurant where Shayla works.  I was intrigued by him in the previous books and my intrigue was justified…and I was completely satisfied at finally reading his story.  My heart broke for him several times and I can’t tell you the copious amount of tears I shed while reading all he has endured.  He is a beautifully flawed man, sure, but so much of his character has been shaped by his past that is was impossible to not give him the absolution he desperately needed.  Shayla is the bright light to his cloudy day and she has been utterly wrecked by the silence that has become of their once easy friendship. She was in love with him (although it takes a minute for her to realize it) and he brutally destroyed her one night, something from which she has barely recovered.  I adored her!!!  Truly, she was a breath of fresh air and her story was just and moving and raw as Stitch’s story, which made her bubbly and vivacious personality very surprising.  The best part of Shayla…her utter faith in humanity and her ability to understand, forgive, and willingness to sacrifice for those she loves the most.  I loved how driven and motivated she was and how she saw the world…with open eyes and a non-judgmental outlook on everything.  Due to a circumstance that brings Shayla low, Stitch can’t help but step forward and offer her comfort and kindness and Shayla hangs onto that like a life-line and all the feelings they have towards each other become impossible to ignore.  Their chemistry is full of both eroticism and emotion, ratcheting up the heat level to incendiary proportions.  It was dirty, sexy, and REAL!  Their path to happily ever after is not easy, so please do not expect that.  And Shayla, well, she makes the ultimate sacrifice for love here and I seriously could NOT STOP CRYING!!!!  I was blown away by so many parts of this book that when it was over, I felt like I had survived a category 5 hurricane….that I LOVED.  Insane but real, Bad For You will tear you apart and put you back together and it’s one ride you absolutely do not want to miss.  I can’t wait to read the next book in this series but make no mistake, Bad For You is utterly perfect and is definitely a top 10 read of 2018!  5 stars!

He didn’t want to be bad. He just didn’t have a choice…

Shayla Perkins isn’t the kind of girl who makes the same mistake twice, especially when it comes to Sean “Stitch” Molina. So when he gives her the world’s biggest rejection, that’s it–she’s done. Until the sexy, silent, unavailable Sean makes Shay a very personal offer. Of course, it still doesn’t mean he’s interested in her. Or does it?

Sean has done things in life. Bad things. And he’s paid the price. All he wants now is to make up for his past by doing good in the present. And no one deserves more good than Shay. Beautiful on the inside and out, Shay is the kind of woman who should be cared for and protected–especially from a man like Sean. He’s tried to keep his feelings for her in check, but a single, reckless impulse pulls them closer than ever before.

Soon the two are sharing their biggest dreams and satisfying their deepest desires. But what will happen if the only way to truly give each other what they want most…is to let each other go?

“The perfect mix of funny, hot and heartwarming. I enjoyed it immensely!” –Mia Sheridan, New York Times bestselling author, on Four Letter Word

“Intensely sexy and packs an emotional punch!” – #1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely on Make Me Beg

Claire Collins has always been good—except when it comes to bad boys. Or one bad boy in particular: a tattooed musician as skilled with her body as he is with his guitar. But he wasn’t ready to be a father, so she left him to raise their daughter on her own. Only fate had other plans, and suddenly, Ryan is back in her life, disrupting everything. This time, though, she’s determined not to lose her heart…even if she still craves his touch.

Ryan Thomas never expects to see Claire again—especially not in a small mountain town in Washington on the last show of his comeback tour. But when the lights come on, there she is, more beautiful than ever. One incredible night with her won’t be enough… But he’ll have to prove he’s not the man he used to be, if he wants to keep her—and his family—for good.
Claire was grateful when the waitress came over and they had to pull away. They hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. Maybe that would buy her some time, stop her head from spinning. She needed a chance to collect herself before she lost her mind. Ryan wasn’t just a sexy guy who looked at her the way he always had, like she was the only woman in the world and he’d been waiting his whole life to find her. He was the man who’d broken her heart, and she’d better not forget it.

But as soon as she opened the dessert menu, it was harder to stay composed. First on the list was The Chocolate Orgasm, a sinful-sounding molten cake topped with homemade whipped cream. Right now, flushed and heated, she didn’t just want the chocolate. She wanted the orgasm, too.

To go, please, since sharing either of those with the man next to her was obviously a very, very bad idea.

Ryan must have known exactly what she was thinking, because he leaned even closer than they’d been before the waitress came. “I know what you want,” he said devilishly.

“Cheesecake?” Her voice practically squeaked.

“Nope.”

“Tiramisu?”

“I’ve always thought of that as such a tease. Sure, it’s got chocolate. But barely. Why waste time with all that foreplay?”

Oh, please. Claire leveled her head at him. “You don’t believe in foreplay?”

He reached over and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She could guess it was all over the place, no matter how hard Abbi had tried to tame it. She never should have given Ryan a chance to talk to her more. She never should have come. Now here they were, so close to each other as though no time at all had passed.

“On the contrary,” he said, and then his voice dropped. “But that doesn’t mean every taste shouldn’t be the real deal.”

His eyes locked with hers, the gray darkened to the deep blue of a midnight ocean in the corner where they sat. Was he always like this, so impossible to resist?

She looked away, scanning the rest of the menu frantically, trying to come up with something other than what she obviously wanted. What he knew she wanted. What under any other circumstances, with any other person, she might even have let herself have.

“I think I’ll get the carrot cake,” she said lamely.

That grin again. His lips moved only a little, but his eyes shifted, the gray lightening. A flicker. A tease.

“Now why are you so hell-bent on denying yourself? The Claire I knew was fed up with being good.”

Review – The Lucky Heart by Devney Perry

REVIEW:

Earlier this year, Devney Perry exploded into the book world with her first book, The Coppersmith Farmhouse.  It was a beautiful and moving introduction to a brand new author.  I was immediately hooked.  Her latest addition to the Jamison Valley Series is no exception!  The Lucky Heart was phenomenal.  I have been excited for the story of Silas from the very beginning and Ms. Perry did not disappoint.  He was magnificent as a hero….kind, courageous, brave…and very much in love with Felicity.  He can’t even remember a time when he didn’t love her and the way he expresses this love completely wrecked me as a reader.  Now Felicity…..my heart broke for her.  Over and over, the burden she carried upon her shoulders brought me to tears.  She was such a strongly written character and when she finally broke, I wept.  And still, she kept marching on.  The journey that is Felicity and Silas was beautiful and poetic.  There was laughter, tears, and new beginnings.  The sex scenes were erotic yet tastefully done with just the right amount of heat and plenty of emotion.  The plot was fast paced and easy to follow along with and kept me entertained from the very beginning. There were a few moments of suspense and we have the perfect set-up for the next book to come.  You are even introduced to a couple new characters (can I just say, I loved Silas’ friend who pops in for a visit and decides to stay.  He’s a charmer, for sure)!  I had quite a few moments of gut-clenching laughter and even a moment or two of angst thrown in for spice.  Felicity is a firebrand and Silas is the hand that allows her to burn bright but not damage.  The integration of previous characters was wonderful and allows us to catch up with them and all that is going on in their lives as well.  Overall, this is a love story about forgiveness….for yourself and for the wrongs others have done to you.  The Lucky Heart was utter perfection and Ms. Perry is an author who can weave a beautiful story that will suck you in and leave you breathless.  I can’t wait for the next installment in this series! 5 stars!

5 Star Review – Emergency Attraction by Samanthe Beck

Review:

This book sucked me in from the very first paragraph and I loved every second of it.  Emergency Attraction is a second chance romance that made me laugh, made me cry, and showed me the true meaning of what happily-ever-after is all about.  Shane, our hero, was considered trash by most of the town when he left but now he’s going to be their savior.  What he didn’t expect was to come face-to-face with the love of his life, Sinclair.  I loved Shane.  He is alpha male with a great sense of humor.  He is persistent and relentless in breaking down Sinclair’s walls.  From the moment he “rescues” her at a wedding, I fell in love with him.  Sinclair, however, was the town princess and now she is guarding her heart against Shane, confident that there is no way she will go back down the path of heartbreak with him again.  What she doesn’t expect was how well Shane is playing the game….not only doing his job but doing extra work to win her back.  I love Sinclair.  She is smart and sassy and very independent and I especially enjoyed how she lived  her life on her terms, and not the way other thought she should live her life.  I loved Shane and Sinclair’s banter and while there is quite a bit of love-hate mixed in here, the emotion and passion is so strong and real, I was literally breathless.  The sex is erotic yet emotional and when the truth of the past comes to light I burst into tears and learned just how powerful love is when overcoming tragedy.  The secondary characters are great (we see them in previous books in this series so it’s always fun to see a little bit about how they are doing now).  There is an extremely douchey man that I quite frankly, wanted to beat the crap out of.  The plot was entertaining and engaging and so far, I found Emergency Attraction to be my favorite book in this series.  I can’t wait for the next book.!!!!  Samanthe Beck is a true star with the ability to suck you into her characters worlds and wish you could never leave.  5 stars!

Despite his best intentions, she ended up as the one that got away. Now he’s back, determined to reclaim everything he gave up, including Sinclair.

Sinclair is immune to Shane’s charms. She’s immune to stolen kisses behind the gym. And she’s definitely immune to that maneuver he did in the back seat of his car… Okay, maybe her hormones are susceptible, but she has absolutely no desire to risk anything on the bad boy who broke all his promises.

When a little emergency lands her at his mercy, he offers her a deal she can’t refuse. And this time, she’ll show Shane what it means to be left wanting…

“Not a mark on the car.”

Shane turned and walked back to where Sinclair stood with her skirt caught in the car door. “Or you?”

Her chin came up as he drew near. “That goes without saying.”

“Does it?” He dropped his gaze, and took a slow tour of some territory he’d once been intimately familiar with, starting at her bare shoulders and continuing to where satiny skin disappeared beneath blue silk. “I remember finding some extremely creative places to leave marks.” He ran his finger along the neckline of her dress. “So you wouldn’t get in trouble. You didn’t need to be as cautious with me.”

“I”—she broke off and swallowed—“I don’t remember…”

Oh, yeah. She remembered. He took the gift bag out of her hand and set it on the roof of the Mercedes. “I’ll let you in on a little secret, Sinclair.”

“What?” The word barely qualified as a whisper.

“I’m still extremely creative.” With that, he dropped to his knee, and peered behind her.

Her hand smacked his shoulder. “What are you doing?”

“Seeing if I can find a creative solution to your little predicament.” The position gave him an up-close look at the tangle of her skirt in the car door, the torn seam that rendered the dress un-wearable—he turned his head slightly—aaand the tiny, lacy, black panties that left mouthwatering portions of her ass bare to his view. Without doing any sort of motive check, he let his cheek brush the smooth flesh.

Muscles quivered in response. The hand on his shoulder switched to the top of his head, but she didn’t push him away. He trailed his lips across her thigh, automatically following the line of her panties where it hugged her hip and arrowed around front.

Her shuddery exhale triggered his inhale. Her scent stormed his senses, achingly familiar, and dangerously arousing. The molecules infiltrated his brain, coated the back of his throat, and left him dizzy from need. Balancing before her on both knees, taking a hip in each hand, he slowly closed in on the sheer triangle covering the prize.

“Shane…”

He took another hungry inhale. The tip of his nose skimmed the lace. “Yes?”

Those slim fingers slid down until her palm cupped the back of his head. Her thighs parted.

“Ye—”

A car alarm shattered the silence and broke the spell lust and memories had woven around them. She jerked away, shoved her skirt down, and glared at him. “That’s not part of our deal.”

He stood, intentionally taking up the space she’d tried to carve out for herself. “Don’t kid yourself, Sinclair. That’s always been part of our deal.”

Blog Tour – The Do-Over by Julie A. Richman

The Do-Over, an all-new emotional, second chance STANDALONE romance by Julie A. Richman is now LIVE!!

~ Sometimes, one degree is all that separates you from the one you were meant to be with. ~

Wes Bergman was sex on a stick.

We’d been circling one another our entire lives, mingling at the same clubs… attending the same events…sharing mutual acquaintances…yet we’d never actually met.

Until . . . we both boarded a Windjammer Cruise in the Caribbean. And it was like meeting my long, lost best friend for the first time. I hadn’t ever connected with a guy that way before.

But Wes had a girlfriend. So, when the week was over, he walked off the ship, unknowingly taking a piece of my heart with him.

Now, over a decade later, newly divorced, I’m the proverbial fish out of water. Dating has totally changed. Apps. Swipe left. Swipe right. Catfishing. Men my age want two things: twenty-five-year-olds—like my ex’s new child bride of a wife—or just a quick hook-up.

After a string of bad dates, I finally did something I never thought I’d do. I had a hot one-night stand with a really handsome guy I met online who didn’t even know my real name.

Turned out Mr. Fling is a big shot for my company’s newest client. And just my

luck, that client’s CEO is none other than . . . Wes Bergman.

Now I’m separated by one degree again from the man who stole my heart.

And Mr. Fling could destroy my chance of what I want most –

A Do-Over with Wes.

His hand slowly stroking up and down the outside of my thigh is what roused me from my dream state. It was so soft and tender that I was getting more and more turned on with every movement. With my eyes still closed, I enjoyed the sensation. It wasn’t until his lips started brushing my shoulder, that I was unable to stifle a moan, revealing that I was awake.

“Good morning,” his whisper was hoarse.

“Mmm, good morning.” I stretched my body against his and turned my head to see his face hovering over mine, before our lips met.

“Sleep good?”

“Surprisingly, I did. I was so exhausted. Sorry for passing out on you last night,” I apologized.

“I think we both passed out the moment our heads hit the pillows.” Wes’ hand had migrated from my thigh to my stomach, where he softly drew circles with his fingertips.

Rolling over to face him, I pushed my hair out of the way, silently praying my humidity enhanced curls didn’t make me look like a deranged housewife, scaring the erection right out of the man. Slinging a leg over his thigh, I instantly got my answer. The crazy morning coif was not a cock killer. Thank God!

“You’re a morning person, I see.” Hiding my smile was not a possibility.

“Yeah, I am,” Wes laughed, moving closer to me, his eyes filled with the unmistakable desire to become lovers, something I’d dreamed about on the deck of a windjammer long ago.

“You can wake me up like this anytime.” I needed to let him know it was okay. He’d said he’d take it as slow as I wanted it and what I wanted right now was a slow rhythm of him plowing into me. Hard.

“Are you hard to wake up?” He was pressed up against me.

“I think you’ll figure out the secrets to rousing me.”

“You’ve already figured out the secrets to arousing me.” His voice still had that sexy edge of morning roughness to it, making me want to skip all foreplay and have him inside me.

“I’ll bet you have a few more secrets I can discover,” I said against his lips, as I shifted the leg I had slung over him, pressing my heat and wetness against his already throbbing cock.

Wes groaned and I could feel his smile against my lips. “You know you’re going to make it impossible to make slow, sweet love to you.”

“Good, because I don’t want it slow and sweet.”

Wes flipped me onto my back, “I can easily accommodate your wishes. Are you on anything or do I need to…”

“We’re good,” I assured him.

“Yes, we are.” He kissed my neck, then swiftly pulled my tank top over my head tossing it to the floor. “We’re going to be really good together. Of that, I have no doubt.”

And I knew he was right. Being with this man had been so perfect from the night we met. We meshed with ease and the result was pure joy.

The warmth in his eyes and smile made my breath catch, and in that moment, I was flooded with overwhelming emotion at how much I wanted him. How much I’d always wanted him. It was more than lust, beyond the heat of the moment. Wes Bergman was the man I had always wanted, from the night we met. That was clear to me now.

“I vote we skip the foreplay.” I wriggled out of my underwear.

“You’re on.” His smile told me he was taking on the challenge.

“You’re in,” I gasped, my breath catching in my throat, surprised at the swiftness with which he filled my request.

Excerpt
~twenty-four years ago Nick pressed two fingers into the sleep deprived headache pounding in his temple and tried to concentrate on professor Jenkins’s explanation of ideal gas law. He circled a line of notes, ignored the knock on the auditorium door until he heard the familiar cry. Hannah, who he’d left in the university daycare two hours ago.

The high pitched wail wasn’t his two year old sister’s hurt cry. It was her scared cry with a touch of pissed off. In the six months since their parents’ death, he’d learned to tell the difference. He’d learned a lot of things. Like if he didn’t take her to the bathroom, she’d likely wait too long and have an accident. Like green beans made her throw up, but she’d eat them if he told her to. And she would never, ever go to sleep without Mr. Bunny.

He was up, out of his seat, and halfway down the auditorium stairs before his professor laid his pen down.

Nick’s eyes narrowed on the young blonde in an oversized sweatshirt with silk greek letters sewn on the front. She held a sobbing Hannah dressed in the sunny yellow sundress he’d picked out that morning. She hadn’t been crying when he left her. Now her eyes were red and snot mixed with tears dripped into her mouth. Hannah lunged for him. His arms engulfed her small body and his heart squeezed like it always did when she held onto him.

“I stay you,” Hannah said. Each word tumbled out of her with a jerk of her tiny shoulders.

“What happened to her?”

“Nothing happened to her. She hasn’t stopped screaming for the past hour and she bit three people. We can’t keep her like that.”

Several responses came to mind.

She’s just a baby.

She missed her nap.

And the loudest of all, it was my fault for leaving her.

Hannah raised her head to look at him, giant tears hanging from golden lashes. “I bite.”

“Well. At least she’s honest.” Professor Jenkins turned his questioning eyes to Nick. “She yours?”

He hesitated, but only a second. “My sister. But yes, she’s mine.” And at that moment she became even more his, which seemed to be the case every day. Every day, a little more his.
